World environmental day competitions

On 5th June  2018  World Environmental  day  organized  by the AP Pollution Control Board at Athidhi Hotel, Eluru. Our students Ch.Sravani(161119),V.Bala Naga Tejaswi(161147),M.Bhavani(161158) talked on Environmental issues and challenges , specially focused  to beat plastic pollution and  create awareness to reduce plastic usage to the gathering ​

Work Shop

The department of chemistry organised a work shop on 21st june 2018 entitled chromatography techniques and demonestrated drug analysis by using high pressure liquid chromatography. Mr.Naga Raju Assistant professor in Sir C.R.R.Pgarmaceutical college,Dr.G.Jyothi H.O.D. of Chemistry and Dr.V.Naga Lakshmi were the resource persons.

Knowledge extension programme

Chemistry students of III BSc M.P.C. presented a knowledge extension programme entitled "Say No To Plastics" under the guidance of Dr.G.Jyothi and Ms.N.Madavi on 28th june 2018. Students depicted the recycling of plastics to lay roads in the form of video, reduce and reuse the plastics to save Mother Earth in the form of dance and skit. The use of bio plastics made from prwn shells was presented. The program came to an end with slogans like "say no to plastics" and "beat plastics"


Paper presentations

Dr.M.Rama participated and presented paper on Educated Women - A boon to family and society. Dr.V.Naga Lakshmi along with Dr.G.Jyothi and Mrs.T.Rohini Kumari presented papers on "Women in Research" respectively.Dr.C.A.Jyothirmayee, presented a paper on "understanding family structure and women empowerment in India.

Guest lecture

Dr.M.Rama lecturer department of chemistry delivered a guest lecture on "Metal clusters" for I year MSc chemistry students at KBN college vijayawada on 17th february 2018.

Guest Lecture

Department of chemistry organised a guest lecture to the III BSc students on 16th february 2018. Dr.Jagan Mohan Reddy Assistant Professor Adikavi Nanaya University enlightened the students on fundamentals of organic chemistry and how to face competitive exams to secure seat at national level institutions.
