Seminars and workshops 2016-17

All the chemistry department members attended a National Workshop on Spectrophotometer and Chromatography held at Sir C R R College, Eluru on 20th June, 2016.










On 5th august 2016 Dr.G.Jyothi & Dr.V.Nagalakshmi acted as resource persons in a workshop entitled “Chromatographic techniques “ to final year BSc students at Maris Stella college Vijayawada.
                           

On 18th & 19th August all the faculty members of the chemistry department actively involved in a national seminar organized by IQAC on Moving towards Choice based credit system in home college. Dr.M.Rama along with other IQAC members organized a two day National seminar on “Moving towards Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) in higher education- A Road map”. She presented a paper on Higher Education in INDIA –Issues Challenges and Suggestions.
On 29th Aug 2016 Dept. of Chemistry organized a workshop on Noise Pollution with a Team of experts consisting of Dr.Venkateswarulu E.E, Mr.Saradhi Analyst and Mrs.Karuna Rekha A.E from A.P.Pollution control board W.G.Dt.
                              

Dr.G.Jyothi,Mrs.T.Rohini kumari,Dr.V.N.agalakshmi and Mr.G.Srinivasa rao attended a national seminar on "Environmental protection and sustainable development issues and challenges(EPSDIC)" organised by Sir.C.R.R. College Eluru on 22nd and 23rd sept 2016
On 2nd December 2016 department of chemistry organized an essay writing competition in collaboration with AP pollution control board and also attended workshop on National Pollution Control Day as a chemistry FOCUS Club activity. Many of our students participated and won prizes at Sir.C.R.R.PG college auditorium.
